Bank of America teams up with the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank (WFAFB) to help give children weekend meals. Mary Stengel, Executive Director of the WFAFB proudly accepted a check from Bank of America's employee's in the amount of $3.000 to help fill PowerPak 4 Kids Backpacks.

PowerPaks are filled with child-friendly easy to open nutritious food which is sent home with children over the weekend during school months. The PowerPak 4 Kids targets the poorest and most hungry children in our service area by working in the school districts where vast percentages of the children receive free or reduced meals. By working closely and with dignity with school counselors and chronically hungry North Texas children, the WFAFB now provides over 1000 PowerPaks.
