Eczema & Arbonne Skin Care Products
Contributed by: ERICA PERSAUD on 8/25/2009

Eczema is a condition that affects the exterior skin (atopic dermatitis) leaving it raw, inflamed, itchy and terribly uncomfortable and unsightly for the individual.

Victims of Eczema range from babies to adults. Unlike adults, who can receive various steroidal medications and topical creams to treat this atopic nuisance; baby's new skin are more sensitive and delicate and require extreme care when prescribing these type of treatment.

As a result, alternative treatment has been sought in herbs and botanicals to help relieve the discomforts and symptoms of eczema and is some isolated studies cure those affected by this debilating condition.

I've found recently, that as we try to tackle eczema with approved medicines, herbs and botanical washes, lotions and creams, we are working against these treatments by not paying close attention to ingredients that exist in over the counter or foo-foo skin cleansers, soaps and body washes. It is in my opinion that the ingredients (Mineral Oil, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Animal Glycerin, Oleic Acid, Stearic Acid & Tallow, Lanolin and Carmine) that are used to create these products can be aggravating atopical skin conditions, rendering individuals searching for answers that can be found right on label of their favorite smelling soap or body wash.

Through my affiliation with Arbonne I've been made aware of these and other ingredients that work against promoting healthy skin. In fact, many of the ingredients in soap and body cleansers are the same products used in cleaning spray degreasers and dish detergents amongst other daily products. Imagine how healthy your skin may be if you could eliminate these ingredients and replace with herbs and botanicals, that is food for the skin and helps quell atopic dermatitis conditions and flare-ups I've found such products within the Arbonne skin care lines and products.

My two sons had eczema patches on their face, arms and knees that cleared up within a week using their Arbonne Baby Care line. Though I am tempted to return to the smell good baby stuff I grew up with, I know that things that are tradition isn't always the best and with time and knowledge new products are invented may not smell as good, but are better in the long run.

Along with the ABC line there are many more lines for all basic skin types and conditions, especially aging that Arbonne has hired top botonist, scientist and skin care specialist to invent and create products that are not only safe and beneficial, but inexpensive.

Educate yourself and try these products yourself I am certain you won't be disappointed.
