Follow up on the Ants!

Two great responses to my article about how to get the ants off my bird feeders give me hope. Ida, here on Your Hub, suggested double sided tape. Now why didn't I think of that? It's so logical. I'll show those annoying little insects. In fact I've already started.

I also had a phone call from a friend who read the article in the newspaper. She sprays the area around her feeders with Pam. Who would have thought it? So I sprayed the frame around each window this morning. And guess what? Millions (I'm not kidding) of ants, looking like little grains of pepper, are lined up on the wall. They can't get across to the sugar water. And many of them have gone on to ant heaven or wherever ants go.

So now I have two methods to show those insects that I, thanks to the help of my readers, am smarter than the ants are.
