Notre Dame 5th graders Madison Sosolik and Michelle Fisher were the respective 1st and 2nd place winners in the DARE Essay contest. Madison and Michelle wrote about the harm in taking drugs and drinking alcohol. Madison won a $100 Savings Bond and Michelle won a $50 Savings Bond. Trooper Joe Clement, Texas Dept. of Public Safety Officer, was the teacher of the DARE course at Notre Dame this year.
