Digital camera....the thought of it is too confusing for me. I am
old fashioned
. What is wrong with the "regular" way to take a photo? "Download" a photo? Where are they on my computer? My
teenagers
know exactly how to do this but me? I'm a little afraid of all of this technology.
This past weekend it rained and rained. What to do on Sunday? Something in the back of my head keeps telling me that my wedding photos (taken by friends with digital cameras) are "
somewhere
in my computer." Will they be there forever? Exactly where ARE they in my computer? Will I ever see them again? They are too important for me to just leave them in cyberspace, I tell myself.
I "slowly" walked to the computer...and pushed the button that said, "Free Creative Memories Storybook Download." No turning back now.
Drive "D" is where I found my photos, along with drive "C," whatever that means! I simply follow the instructions on my computer screen. It is SO EASY...I am AMAZED. There are words on every page that say, "enter your text here." Along with the wedding photos, I can journal my thoughts and the story of my wedding.
Twenty pages later and 30 photos later I am DONE! I did it! In 5 days I will have back a professionally printed, hardbound book. My children will have my wedding book to share with their children's children. Our family history. Passed down for generations to come. I have attached the photo of my new husband and I, which is on the first page of the book. If you would like more information on HOW to do this, go to
www.mycmsite.com/marycluley
and click on "Free Storybook Download" and "Free Storybook Tutorial." Do it for your dad for Father's Day...that's another great idea!

Good for you. I know what you're saying. This new technology sometimes puzzles me, but it's so much fun when you see what you can do. Congratulations on your book, a treasure for the future. Thanks for the link.
