I have to wonder if you and I would get the same break. I know that we are under "grace" and not the "law"; we are in the new covenate not the old BUT do you sincerely believe had it been our church, our group or our personal taxes, would they have done the same thing? Isn't it about time we all get fairness under the law? Isn't it about time that you and I get the same breaks that the Kennedy's, the Bushs and the Sharptons get? And how about the Jacksons or the Reids, they just get to say "oops, I forgot" and everything is ok! Why is that? Why do we pay for lawyers and attorneys for these people and not for others? Isn't is about time they receive the same sentence we do? As we have concluded in various post and stories before, just follow the money and you will see just who is getting the breaks! Hiton, Spears, Busey, Jackson, Sharpton, Kennedy and others have all been given "breaks" this last two years. Why? Why do they deserve a break when people like you and I rot in jail or prison for a hot check or open bottle? Not that "any" crime is ok, but equal punishment should be up-held in every case - justice should be blind to race, color, creed or money!
