Blog Entry 55 of 151 Everyone Has an Opinion; These are mine
Everyone has a right to their own opinion, everyone does not have a right to their own set of facts. The lie of political correctness, the motive of a relative society is to confuse people into mistaking wrong for right. There are biblical absolutes and I try my best to adhere to these principles and prcepts. Do I make mistakes YES. Do I get confused YES. But I never mistake dishonesty for honesty and I know a lie when I tell it. So, that all said, these are my opinions as I see them.

Focus is the KEY
Contributed by: Charles Paul Stephens   on 7/23/2008

Of course we can focus on the few that cause so much destruction; we can focus on the teachers that abuse little children. We can focus on the politicians that steal our money. And we can focus on the 1-2% of pitbull dogs that cause all problems. We can focus on Paris and Britney or we can focus on Sarah and Hanna. Anything but focus on ourselves and the real problems in America. You see the media is playing a huge game with our minds-they always have been! What do you think the HBO mini-series " Mad Men " is all about? Just how ad execs and their college educated master-minds play with the American people! They told us to smoke, then told us to buy cars. They told us we needed TVs, now Ipod and MP3. Yes, we can focus on all that or we can focus on our problems!

We are much smater than to be fooled into believing that every pitbull on every street is a monster. Just as we have been fooled into believing that drugs are only in certain parts of town or only on certain streets. We are way to smart to fully agree with the idea that every child needs a college education. If that happens then we will only need more illegal aliens to clean up after the next tornado or huricane. Yet, the media and many activist would have us believe totally different and they "seem" to have many others on their side. Just listen to the rpopaganda being passed off as higher-education. Just listen to the educated people who claim that " America is at fault for most everything."

We can't drill for oil, we can't build a refinery, we can't put up windmills and we can't keep our dogs without interference from city, state and federal government. They can't fix the problems but they can sure tell you and I what to do. They pass new laws and spend enormous amounts of money but nothing gets done. The streets are never fixed, the building never finished: they just spend and spend like there will always be plenty. Focus on the pennies and the dollars will care for themselves!
