Yes, finally got up the nerves to go through with tthe surgery. I used the new low cost spay and neuter clinic off Wichita street. I was very nervous and almost cried when I left him. But thanks go out to the staff for the good care and treatment he received.

He and his girfriend had several encounters the day before his surgery. I just considered it his last fling you know like a bachelor's party. I cannot believe the emotional number she has had on my sweet darling. He was so obsessed with trying to reconnect, that he wouldn't eat, sleep at night, or utilize mother nature's facilities. Whenever he see's the neighborhood black cat, he stands at attention thinking it's her-- my love has come to see me!) I've tried to factor in the effects of his anesthesia, but give me a break. It's not that i'm trying to rewrite the laws of nature, I'm trying to prevent an emergency trip to the vet in the middle of the night after he has rupture his stiches.

The only way I've been able to combat his behavior issues is to resort to an intensive and strict retraining program. So far today, it appears to be working. I'm back to regular walks with him on his leash, (allowing one brief trip by her house with ettremely limited time for visitation)bestowing lavish praise on him for good behavior, and less than one hour ago he had his first bowel movement followed with a healthy appetite.
