Everyone Has an Opinion; These are mine
Everyone has a right to their own opinion, everyone does not have a right to their own set of facts. The lie of political correctness, the motive of a relative society is to confuse people into mistaking wrong for right. There are biblical absolutes and I try my best to adhere to these principles and prcepts. Do I make mistakes YES. Do I get confused YES. But I never mistake dishonesty for honesty and I know a lie when I tell it. So, that all said, these are my opinions as I see them.

Most of us have been touch by addiction in one form or another.
We have an uncle, aunt or child that experimented then became
addicted. I include alcohol and prescriptions in this along with
cigarettes and chewing tobacco. It would seem that many of you
especially parents want to put some sort of DEGREE on just
how much someone is addicted. Let me assure you that this is
a very dangerous assumption. I hear parents all the time say -
"well they just drank a little on weekends then they found meth"
or " I would rather they drink at home then get a DWI'. If they are
drinking at home, with your permission then they are drinking
other places using that very same permission. America needs
a wake-up call on this liberalism and promiscuous behavior. No
longer to we say No Sex, today we say Safe Sex. What is safe
sex anyway, years of giving it away only to have nothing left when
you find true love? Next we hear it said, Drink But Don't Drive or
Drink as Long as You have a Designated Driver. Why NOT don't
drink at all. Why do we normalize teenage drinking and teenage sex
as experimentation? Why do we avoid parenting and teaching by
claiming -" Well they are just doing what we did"? It was wrong
when you did it and it is wrong today. One of the most harmful
words in our vocabulary today is DABBLING - " well I just dabbled
with a little pot then I snorted coke" or "I was only dabbling with speed
then I found heroin". No one Just Dabbles! You are either an addict or
you are NOT, period. There are NO degrees to addiction and there are
NO degrees to recovery. You are either in your addiction OR you are
in Recovery! There are no half measures. I am so sick of the education
experts and the medical experts trying to explain away addiction! I am
so tired of getting addict after addict who claim, well this doctor said
this and that teacher said this, while in time they are dying. The American
teenagers are killing themselves with the "choking game" and STDs all
because they have little or no examples! Where are all the HEROS today?
Mike Vick, A-rod, J-lo or even Rosie or Oprah? Who are our children looking
to today for their examples, The Local Drug Dealer or Porn-Promoter? We
have got to realize that everyone NEEDS hope. We NEED love and we NEED
to be needed. We do not need another MP3 or flat screen TV.
