I am sure by now you all know how I feel about many of the clothes and most of the talent on America's main stage these days. The clothes and hiar-styles many designed by confused even deranged people, are a big hit - why? I am sure some of these people are very smart and artistic, that does not mean they speak for the whole of America. The pants made with dirty brown spots look like you took a dump in your pants! The long cockroach killer shoes are no better than the cockroach killer boots of the 40s and 50s! They stink! And last, the hair, who ever thought that this bird nest stuff on top of your head is great - get over it, it's not. OK! now as for talent, their is a lot of good talent out there; Miranda, Sarah, Clint and George but many of these new folks are " Ken and Barbie" of music land! They do not have talent, they have looks! Just look at the number of Blonde Babes hitting the country music stage the last few months. Too many too count my friends, too many to count. So we see fade after fade come forth just to make the fast buck in Nashville and New York! We see as one gay or lesbian person after another tell you and I how to believe and what to watch. Of course we have free will, we have the right to chose but when you want to watch music videos, when you want to surf channels, you really do not want to see or hear all the garbage. Do you? Will and Grace might be a hit, but we really do not know for sure? Jessica Simpson may have a hit but we really do not know for sure? We do not know for sure because we are not sure how much of every dollar is spent on them as opposed to others with the same comapany. As we have heard from the powers that be, when they finally decided to push Garth Brooks, that spent 90 cents of every dollars on his career. Well, anyone with any talent could make it with 90cents of a multi million dollar budget invested in them. We are being sold a bill of goods in the realm of talent and clothes. We are being told we should like something when in fact I don't - Do you? I mean seriously, wo even listens to RAP or Hip Hop Flop Music these days? Do you?
